How many sessions you need
The number of sessions depends on your needs: at the first session the therapist will tell you whether one visit is enough or a course is needed.
When it is not allowed
- acute inflammation and high fever
- infectious diseases
- damaged skin or skin disease in the treatment area
- thrombosis and thrombophlebitis
- cancer — only with your doctor’s permission
- pregnancy — not allowed for some treatments, check with your therapist
Contraindications for facial massage
We do not perform facial massage if you have:
- damaged skin: wounds, rashes, pustules
- dermatitis, an allergic reaction or another skin condition in the acute phase
- active herpes (cold sores) or another active viral infection
- a cold, an acute respiratory infection or a raised temperature
- acute inflammation
- couperose (broken capillaries) or rosacea in the active phase
- large or hanging moles in the massage area
- thrombosis and malignant tumours
- hyperthyroidism
- low intracranial pressure
- individual intolerance to massage or cosmetic products
After cosmetic procedures
Massage is not allowed until a break has passed:
- botulinum therapy (Botox and similar) and dermal filler contouring — not earlier than 2 weeks after
- thread lift — not earlier than 1 month after; deep and hardware techniques — after 2–3 months
- peels, laser treatments, facial cleansing — only once the skin has fully healed
